A professional water engineer with over forty years’ experience in the UK and around the world, he prides himself on being able to apply his training and experience, combined with common sense and independent thought, to major issues of the day. This approach can, and often does, result in the expression of an alternative view to that taken by his contemporaries. He has never given up his dedication to water matters and continues to pursue them whenever they come to the fore. Having a number of self-publications to his name, he decided to continue in that medium with this book which, as might be expected, provides a different view to that expressed in mainstream water politics. Unlike the National Framework for Water Resources 2025, he concentrates on the solution to the problem rather than analysis of it.
